The Little Things

So last weekend I traveled to Dallas, Texas for an Indian wedding. Many times at these weddings you don't really know the couple getting married. Even though that was the case at this wedding, I felt right at home. The Dj was playing the best dance music. Even the aunties and uncles were on the dance floor doing the dougie. It was beautiful. Being raised in Atlanta, Georgia, I have been taught to have no shame while dancing. You best believe I was breaking it down in my sari. Anyway, I just wanted to share some of the music the Dj was playing.

(Don't Stop Believing is my all time favorite song, just so you know.)

(Even though I have not spoken a word of Spanish since high school, this song has been following me every where I go, its just a feel good jam.)

(And lastly, who doesn't love Nadia Ali?)

There was definitely more American music being played than Indian but I ain't mad. It was so cute to watch all the Nanas, Nanis, Dadas, and Dadis (grandparents) on the dance floor.

Weddings are my favorite events so I could talk about them all day but moving forward...

I'm so excited to share the coolest tricks I found on Pinterest. (I'm addicted...I think its a problem...naaa)

Fill an ice tray with melted chocolate, add the berries of your choice, and freeze them.

Cut off the sleeves of an old sweater and use them as leg warmers or socks.

Use your left over Sweethearts as chalk. (Who finishes the whole box of those anyway?)

Use a cupcake liner to prevent sticky hands and spills.

Use an old egg carton as a paint palette.

Hope these few tips help! I'll be sure to post more later!

What is Lo0o0ve?

Baby don't hurt me, don't hurt me, no more.

If you didn't already know today is Valentine's day. WHOOHOO. Whether you have a valentine or not, you should treat yourself to something sweet.

My favorite part about this day are the corny but cute valentines people give to one another.

The last thing I want to say about Valentine's day is...

Moving on, I want to share some of the things I've found just browsing the Internet, enjoy!
